PM presides over ACD businessmen meeting

BANGKOK, Oct 9 (TNA) - Prime Minister General Prayut Chan-ocha presided over senior businessmen meeting under the Asia Cooperation Dialogue (ACD) Connect Business Forum 2016, which is aimed at increasing roles of businessmen in strengthening their connection in Asia region. Spokesman of the Foreign Affairs Ministry Sek Wannamethee said the meeting was held at a Bangkok hotel and was organised along with the 2nd ACD Summit. It would allow participants to discuss financial cooperation, a major issue in the world, and how to mobiliผe funds for developing infrastructure projects in Asia. On Monday, Jack Ma, the founder and executive chairman of Alibaba Group, will present conclusion of businessmen to participating government leaders. Gen. Prayut will also on Monday preside over the 2nd ACD Summit at the Foreign Affairs Ministry headquarters. ACD leaders will confer and exchange their opinions to promote business competition in the region so that it could grow on a sustainable basis. (TNA)
