Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On the sidelines of his working visit to the USA, Mongolia's Premier Ch.Saikhanbileg legged Tuesday the Microsoft Innovation and Policy Center in Washington DC. He was welcomed by Dorothy Dwoskin, the senior director for Global Trade Policy and Strategy, and Evgeny A.Danilov, the License Compliance Director for Microsoft Central and Eastern Europe HQ. The PM, after hearing the corporation’s presentation about how Microsoft utilization has been increasing recently in Mongolia and the software piracy, said the Government will put more efforts on protecting intellectual property rights. He also said his cabinet is ready to launch a project on providing 180 kinds of public services on-line. Mr Saikhanbileg also expressed a readiness to implement in Mongolia the corporation's latest IT achievements. The corporation started operating in 1975, founded by Bill Gates. Microsoft employs 128 thousand people in the branches throughout the world. In 2014, Microsoft made profits of USD 86 billion, and remains as the top in the globe by its sales revenue. The Innovation and Policy Center, aiming to advertize the company’s new creations and initiatives and to change the mainstream public perception on the company, has been established to work closely with government officials and third institutions. Ensuring fair competition, protecting copyrights, developing new technologies, creating more jobs, ensuring safety, promoting education and introducing Microsoft’s stance on government policy and regulation changes, are also included in the main guidelines of the Center.
