PM visits Pattani and Songkhla

PATTANI, Nov 27 (TNA) – Prime Minister Prayut Chan-ocha visited Pattani and Songkhla provinces and will chair a special cabinet meeting to follow up government work in southern border provinces. His delegation including cabinet ministers opened a southern border livestock market in Pattani and visited a local palm oil processing plant. They also followed up the work progress of local governmental offices including economic development for southern border provinces. The delegation also received information from local people, administrators and operators in three southern border provinces. On Nov 28, the cabinet meeting will be held at Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya in Muang district, Songkhla. There, people who walked from Thepha district of Songkhla plan to submit a letter to oppose a coal-fired power plant project tomorrow. (TNA)
