PM visits Pichit, Nakhon Sawan for cabinet meeting

BANGKOK, June 11 (TNA) -- Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha is visiting lower northern provinces and will chair a cabinet meeting in Nakhon Sawan tomorrow. During the two-day trip, he will follow up development projects for water resource restoration, logistics and tourism businesses. Gen Prayut this morning led Cabinet members to meet local people at Bueng Si Fai, a large fresh water lake and observed tourism development at the lake before visiting a sluice gate to see the Phichit River restoration project for agriculture. In the afternoon, he will travel to Nakhon Sawan by train to observe the construction of the 145-km section of dual-track railway project. He will meet local leaders and villagers at a meeting hall near Bueng Boraphet lake and witness in the land rights document granting ceremony, the loan lending ceremony for farmers before going to cultural markets along the Chao Phraya River. Tomorrow, the premier will chair the economic and social development meeting for the lower northern provinces including Nakhon Sawan, Kampaengpet, Pichit, and Uthai Thani before the cabinet meeting at Nakhon Sawan Rajabhat University.
