Polls show turnout of 50% in parliamentary elections: Iranian analyst

TEHRAN,Jan.7(MNA) – Iranian political analyst Abbas Salimi-Namin said that the latest polls show that about 50 percent of the people, who are eligible to vote, will turn out for the parliamentary elections, which will be held on March 2, 2012. He also said he does not believe that the parliamentary elections will be a contest only between the principlists, adding that the reformists and deviationists are surreptitiously following their political activities for the elections.
