PREMIER MEETS MCC CEO

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Prime Minister Ch.Saikhanbileg Tuesday received Ms Dana Hyde, the Chief Executive Officer of the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC). At the meeting, the sides exchanged views on characteristics of the contract and actions that should be done by the government. In December 2014, the MCC Board of Directors chose Mongolia for establishing with her the second compact contract, after which our government set up a working group in charge of holding talks with the MCC on this contract and implementing related projects, and also a national working service to draw up the compact contract. The MCC makes the compact contract with a few countries and imposes on them tough criteria. It is expected that about two years will take to formulate the contract, and that relevant projects will be realized within five years after a validation of the contract.
