Premier meets Ms Cassandra Butts

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Prime Minister N.Altankhuyag Monday received Ms Cassandra Butts, Senior Advisor in the Office of the Chief Executive Officer at the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC). The Premier expressed satisfaction with opening of an auto road between Choir and Sainshand, constructed with a capital from the US government. He said the MCC not only realizes many projects in Mongolia, but also significantly contributes to preparing skilled and trained staffers, and then said Mongolia wants to be involved in next-stage projects and programmes. In turn, Ms Butts said the MCC thanks the cabinet for reforms, led by N.Altankhuyag, for rendering support in co-implementing projects that give impetus to the bilateral economic relations. Ms Butts added that she will make efforts to deepen the ties and cooperation between the governments and people. Present at the meeting were also Ms Piper Anne Wind Campbell, the US Ambassador to Mongolia; Mr Jonathan Brooks, the MCC Managing Director for Europe, Asia, Pacific, and Latin America; and other officials.
