Premier meets V.Yakunin

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Prime Minister N.Altankhuyag met Sunday Mr V.I.Yakunin, the president of the "Russian Railways"state-owned company. The visitor expressed thanks to the Premier for giving a chance to run talks on launching a project on new railways to be constructed along the horizontal axis of Mongolian territory. The Premier emphasized an importance of respecting the interests of the two sides in the matters of the project investment and management, and said Mongolia is paying great attention to the new railway’s project because the transport, logistics and infrastructure play main role in the mutually beneficial cooperation between the countries. The parties need to forward the partnership mechanism as well, he added. Mr Yakunin underlined that the two countries should tackle some issues such as participation in the new railway project and its profit despite the results gained. A great condition has been created for the mutual benefits thanks to augmenting the authorized capital. The Premier expressed a readiness of his cabinet to back all potential variants for developing the Mongolian railways.
