PREMIER RECEIVED BY LATVIAN PRESIDENT

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Mongolian Prime Minister N.Altankhuyag was received by Latvia's President Andris Berziņs on Thursday. The Premier said the Mongolia-Latvia relations have been developing since they established the diplomatic relations in 1991, and expressed a hope that this visit will bring the bilateral ties and cooperation into a newer level. The leader of Latvia Mr Berziņs expressed a satisfaction with a development of the bilateral relations and cooperation, and said our countries have an opportunity to collaborate in the economic sector, especially in transportation and logistics. Latvia is developing its transit transportation business based on its biggest seaports, the Latvian President said and emphasized that Mongolia can export its products to Europe through the Latvian seaports.
