PREMIERS RUN NEGOTIATIONS

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Premiers of Mongolia and of Turkey N.Altankhuyag and Recep Tayyip Erdogan ran negotiations on April 11. Before the talks Mr Erdogan said he is glad to visit Mongolia again, thanked for the warm welcome and appreciated Mongolia's naming his country the Third neighbour. Beginning the negotiations, Mr Altnakhuyag said the traditional and friendly relations between our countries have been restoring last years. He said that in 2005, Mr Erdogan took part in the foundation stone laying ceremony of a road to go to ancient Tureg's monuments, now this road has become tourists' path. Mr Altnakhuyag said these historical connections is a nice base to make closer relationship between the two countries. Since 2004, Mongolia has been collaborating with Turkey in a comprehensive partnership level, now it wants to expand the ties into the strategic partnership, N.Altnakhuyag noted, and expressed a confidence that these negotiations will result in a greater development of the cooperation in humanitarian, economy, trade and investment sectors. He said Mongolia's government is to create for the Turkish sides conditions to travel to Mongolia without visas. The two PMs agreed that direct flights Ulaanbaatar--Istanbul,which began in July of 2012, have activated the relations. The sides agreed to expand a mutually beneficial cooperation in the air transportation sector. The two countries' air companies are offering to co-organize cargo flights three times a week in an Istanbul--Bishkek--Ulaanbaatar--Seoul direction. The Mongolian PM mentioned that Mr Erdogan, while being the Mayor of Istanbul, put into exploitation 400 thousand families' apartments, and said the Mongolian side wants to learn this experience and to cooperate in implementation of housing program. Then, the two PMs agreed to cooperate in construction of apartments, roads and bridges, urban planning of ger areas, in leather, cashmere and wool processing and producing final products, in improving infrastructure for tourism. Mr Erdogan said their side can support in introducing the best technology in the energy sector and stressed a need to increase a frequency of high level visits. The two Premiers are confident that friendly and close relations and cooperation will expand. Ch.Enkhtuya
