PREPARATION FOR WINTER CONSIDERED

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The cabinet issued Monday a governmental resolution on measures for the 2014-2015 winter preparation in agricultural sector. The Minister of Agriculture and Industry Sh.Tuvdendorj, a Mayor of Ulaanbaatar and governors of all aimags were obliged to work out a plan on preventing damages caused by possible natural disasters and weather difficulties and to put control over the plan’s implementation. Orders were also given to the Minister of Road and Transportation to keep countryside off-roads open in winter and spring and to ensure human and technical resources. Other tasks were given to the Minister of Agriculture and to a head of the General Agency for Specialized Inspection. The governmental resolution also reflects obligations--to improve a supply of fodder-making techniques and facilities, to form emergency reserves of fodder and hay in every city and soum, to repair livestock fences and water spots, to prepare fuels and winter clothes, to take measures for preventing damages of natural disasters, and others.
