Preparatory Committee for 2017 Meeting Praising Great Persons of Mt. Paektu Formed in Russia

Pyongyang, November 27 (KCNA) -- A preparatory committee for 2017 Meeting Praising Great Persons of Mt. Paektu was formed at the Maritime Territorial Branch of the All－Russia War Veterans' Social Organization "Militant Fraternity" on Nov. 23. Donets, chairman of the Branch, was elected chairman of the committee. The preparatory committee decided to organize multifarious political and cultural events for praising the revolutionary careers and feats of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il on the major occasions and form a committee for remembering Kim Jong Il on the occasion of the 5th anniversary of his demise and hold a remembrance meeting, film show, etc. as the first step in doing so. -0-
