Prepare for blowback, Rouhani tells terrorism backers

TEHRAN,June 23(MNA) – Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said that certain Islamic countries that support terrorists with their petrodollars should know that their own turn will come next. “Supporters of savage terrorists should know that tomorrow is their turn,” Rouhani told an international congress in Tehran on Sunday. In the current sensitive situation it is highly important that Islamic countries get united against terrorism. Peace and unity among Muslims must win over extremists and warmongers, he noted. He said Zionists are involved in the recent tragic events happening in Islamic states, adding that Zionists have fueled clashes among Muslims to divert attention from what is happening in Gaza and other Palestinian lands. He went on to say that all Islamic groups, institutions and parties should create a movement in the world of Islam against violence. Addressing the countries that support terrorists in Iraq and Syria, Rouhani said there is no conflict among Shia and Sunni Muslims and they have been living side by side in Iran, Iraq and Syria peacefully for centuries. He expressed hope that Muslims would become united and isolate extremists and terrorists.
