Presence Of N.Korean Leader In NAM Summit Denied

Tehran, Aug 22, IRNA – An Iranian official here on Wednesday denied reports published by some media on the participation of North Korean Leader Kim Jong-un in the upcoming 16th Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) Summit in Tehran. Talking to IRNA, spokesman of the 16th NAM Summit Mohammad Reza Forqani said, "I have never made such an announcement and therefore, the published news item on my behalf is a sheer lie." He said the North Korean leader will not participate in the summit, and the information on participation of the Korean delegation will be announced soon. The 16th NAM Summit of Leaders will be held in Tehran from August 26-31./end
