Tehran, Feb 20, IRNA – Defense Minister Brigadier General Ahmad Vahidi said that the presence and passage of Islamic Republic of Iran's warships in the international waters is the righteous right of Iran. Brigadier General Vahidi made the remarks at the end of cabinet meeting on Sunday. Asked whether the Iranian warships only berth at a Syrian port, he said that the Iranian fleet will move along the path that has been designated for it. Brigadier General Vahidi pointed out that the second journey of the Iranian naval fleet to the Mediterranean Sea takes place in line with the Islamic Republic of Iran's general policies aimed at stabilizing the presence of Iranian warships in the international seas. 'The time and date of return of Iranian naval warship depend on the sea routes as specified for the fleet,' he added. Commenting on the peculiarities of Fajr satellite that is going to be launched into space, the defense minister pointed out that an important peculiarity of Fajr satellite is its maneuver capabilities in orbit./end
