President Ahmadinejad: Enemies Seeking To Expand Dominance Over Region

Tehran, June 23, IRNA – Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said here Sunday the enemies were seeking to expand their dominance over the region. President Ahmadinejad made the remarks in a meeting with visiting Lebanese Foreign Minister Adnan Mansour. Referring to recent regional developments, he said the Syrian crisis is a part of enemiesˈ big scenario for the region. Describing the Lebanon nation as great and noble, President Ahmadinejad underlined that the country enjoys an intelligent, cultured and resistant nation. Mansour, for his part, appreciated the Islamic Republic of Iran for its support for the Lebanese nation, adding the Iranian nation has always been the flag bearer of justice, freedom and dignity.
