President Ahmadinejad Receives New Brazilian Envoy

Tehran, July 7, IRNA – President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad received here today new Brazilian Ambassador to Tehran Santiago Morao. In the meeting, President Ahmadinejad told the new Brazilian Ambassador that Tehran-Brasilia relations are very deep and there is no negative point in the ties. He added there is no limit to developing ties between Iran and Brazil and we hope to witness expansion of all-out relations between the two countries with the efforts of the officials of both countries. Ahmadinejad went on to say that the hegemonic powers, with their experiences of interferences in north Africa and the Middle East, are planning new programs for the Latin American countries. They intend to transfer their own economic problems to other places in the world, but for sure, the awareness of the leaders of Latin American states will confront with such conspiracies. The new Brazilian envoy submitted his credentials to the president and called for deepening and developing ties between Iran and Brazil. According to the report of Presidential Office website, Morao stressed that Iran and Brazil have common viewpoints in many international and political issues, which can prepare ground for expansion of mutual cooperation./end
