President Ahmadinejad Stresses Active Role In Global Management

Tehran, July 8, IRNA – President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on Sunday said playing an active role in global management along with making domestic development are two necessary factors which help Iran reach its proper status. President made the remarks in an address to a national gathering commemorating his endeavor as Iranˈs President during the past eight years. ˈNo country can ever isolate itself from outside world. This will not work. We have this experience in the past with the former Soviet Union,ˈ said the President. Referring to mankind as a ˈglobalˈ phenomenon, he said Iranians have always been ˈthinking globallyˈ adjusting themselves with every conditions. President Ahmadinejad stressed that Iranians could play a role model for the rest of the world relying on their ˈrich culture and civilization.ˈ Iranˈs culture and civilization were so outstanding that other nations ˈpreferred to accept Iranˈs dominance through the history,ˈ he said.
