President Ahmadinejad Underlines Expansion Of Iran-Benin Ties

Tehran, April 15, IRNA – President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad underlined the expansion of bilateral ties between Iran and Benin. President Ahmadinejad made the remarks in a joint press conference with his Beninese counterpart Thomas Yayi Boni in Beninˈs capital city of Porto-Novo on Sunday night. ˈThe two countries can benefit from each otherˈs experiences and facilities,ˈ President Ahmadinejad said. He expressed the hope that during his visit to Benin, the two countries could reach agreements in the fields of trade, agriculture, metallic industries and exchange of technical and engineering services. The Beninese president, for his part, said that Iran and Benin advocate peace and friendship among nations, adding that the two countries cooperate with each other on the same basis./end
