President Arrives In Tabriz, Starting Northwestern Provincial Tour

Tabriz, E. Azarbaijan prov, April 28, IRNA – President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad arrived in the northwestern city of Tabriz for his fourth visit to the province since he took office eight years ago. A number of his cabinet members and officials are accompanying the President in his visit to the province which is also his 104th visit to provinces all over the country in the past eight years. He is scheduled to hold public meetings, visit different cities and towns across the province, inspect construction and cultural projects, inaugurate a number of projects and hold sessions with provincial officials. A total of 26 construction projects, cost rls 272 billion, will be inaugurated during the President’s two-day provincial visit. East Azarbaijan province is located in northwest of the county and borders Azerbijan, Armenia and Turkey./end
