President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev receives delegation led by Romania’s Presidential Advisor for National Security Julian Fota

Baku, February 27 (AzerTAc). President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev on February 27 received Romania’s Presidential Advisor for National Security Julian Fota. The Head of State emphasized bilateral ties between Azerbaijan and Romania are developing successfully. President Aliyev reminded his visit to Romania and Roania’s President Traian Basescu’s visit to Azerbaijan. The Azerbaijani leader underscored the importance of Azerbaijan-Romania relations in various areas, including economic, political, security and cooperation with NATO. Julian Fota passed on Romanian President Traian Basescu’s greetings to the Head of Azerbaijani state. “Azerbaijan achieved much progress over the recent years,” he emphasized. The Head of State thanked the Romanian official and asked him to convey his best greetings to the Romanian leader Traian Basescu.
