President Elbegdorj meets OSCE observers team

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ President Ts.Elbegdorj met Wednesday, head of the observation mission of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) Audrey Francis Glover who is working here to watch out the process of the parliamentary elections. The observation mission head said a press conference will be called on Thursday to present results of works by the all observers, and a recommendation will be released. Recalling a mission led by Audrey for observing the Presidential election in 2013 here, Ts.Elbegdorj underlined significance of reports and recommendations issued by the OSCE observation team during the 2013 election. He emphasized foreign observers have contributed to transparent and fair actions of the parliamentary elections, and then asked the OSCE team to focus special attention to a report concerning the election. In response, Audrey mentioned that the election process is continuing with no disputes now, and said she is dissapointed with less number of female candidates running for the parliamentary elections.
