Shiraz, Feb 27, IRNA – President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said on Tuesday that Iranˈs progress amounts to the emergence of a cultural, political and influential power in the region and world. Addressing the inaugural ceremony of industrial projects in Fars province, he added that advanced Iran means the spread of human wave across the entire globe. ˈWe should build our country,ˈ he said, contending that all the arrogant powers are at loggerheads with Iran over the progress Iran makes. Referring to the inauguration of Sarvestan and Saˈadatabad oilfields and Hafez Gas Power Plant in Fars province, he added that the projects have cost over 25,000 billion Rials to complete. Describing Fars province as the land of culture, civilization, piety, poetry and literature, Ahmadinejad added that Shiraz has nurtured great mystics, scholars and scientists./end
