President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il Lauded in Serbia

Pyongyang, September 12 (KCNA) -- Dejan Jobanovich, international secretary of the Serbian Communist Party, made public a statement on Sept. 5 in congratulation of the 70th birthday of the DPRK. Noting that President Kim Il Sung liberated Korea after putting an end to the occupation by the Japanese imperialists and founded the DPRK on September 9, 1948, the statement said: He solved all the problems arising in the state building independently and devoted all his life to the building of a powerful socialist country. Thanks to the leadership of Chairman Kim Jong Il, the DPRK could advance invariably along the road of socialism even in the grim period when socialism was frustrated in several countries one after another.
