President In Majlis To Defend Proposed Ministers

Tehran, Aug 12, IRNA – President Hassan Rohani attended Iranian Parliament (Majlis) Monday session to defend his proposed ministers. The Iranian lawmakers will start debate on competency of 18 proposed ministers of President Rohani shortly. President Rohani unveiled the list of his proposed cabinet members during his swearing-in ceremony on August 4. Out of the total 290 MPs, 231 lawmakers are present in todays session presided by Speaker Ali Larijani./end
