President Reaffirms Iran's Friendly Sentiments To New Egyptian Gov't

Tehran, Oct 3, IRNA – President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on Tuesday reaffirmed Iranian friendly sentiments to new Egyptian government. Addressing a press conference, President Ahmadinejad made the remark when he was asked about Iranian stance about new Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi. “Series of events have taken place in Egypt; we should wait and see they reach a level of stability in decision and policy making; we are not on the rush. Iranian and Egyptian nations have extensive and historical ties and they will continue with amity.”/end
