PRESIDENT RECEIVES FOREIGN MINISTER OF CHINA

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Mongolia-China relations have been developing in all spheres, reaching the friendliest volume, said Ts.Elbegdorj when he received Mr Wang Yi, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China (PRC) on Tuesday. The Chinese more open, more wide and giving more opportunities foreign policy towards its two neighbors fully meets the position of Mongolia, Mr Elbegdorj underlined. This year, which celebrates the 65th anniversary of the bilateral diplomatic relations, has been name as the year for friendly exchanges between our countries, in frames of which are running mutual visits of youths, state servants and citizens, all this will certainly deepen our friendly ties, the dignitaries said. Mr Wang conveyed to Me Elbegdorj greetings from the PRC President Xi Jinping. In the letter Mr Xi recalls the high meet with our President in May of this year in Shanghai and is confident that they will meet again. Mr Wang was in Mongolia 11 years ago, this time he witnesses many developmental changes in Mongolia, "this is a result of great efforts of the Mongolians", he said. Mr Wang underlined the PRC President Xi Jinping intends to visit Mongolia in the nearest future, and that this visit will be paid 11 years after the visit of the previous President Hu Jintao. China maintains the policy of strengthening the mutual trust, cherishing the independence and territorial integrity of the two countries, mutually respecting each other security and choices of development, Mr Wang stressed. In addition, he said, Mongolia is significantly contributing to ensuring of the international and regional peace and cooperation by putting forward the initiative of the Mongolian President about the Ulaanbaatar Dialogue. The President noted about his proposal to ran a trilateral high-level meeting among Mongolia, Russia and China, and thanked China’s side for inviting him to the APEC Summit.
