President Rohani Names Caretaker of Ministry of Education

Tehran, Aug 18, IRNA - Iranian President Hassan Rohani has nominated Ali-Asghar Fani as the caretaker for the Ministry of Education, an official close to President Rohani said Sunday. Speaking to IRNA, Mohammad-Reza Sadegh confirmed Fanis appointment to the post. The appointment came after the Iranian Parliament (Majlis) did not confirmed competency of Mohammad Ali Najafi to take the post of education minister. During the tenure of former president Mohammad Khatami, Fani served as the deputy minister of education./end
