President Rouhaniˈs Message Submitted To Venezuelan Counterpart

Tehran, Jan 18, IRNA – Deputy foreign minister for Euro-American Affairs submitted a message by President Hassan Rouhani to his Venezuelan counterpart Nicolas Maduro stressing the significance given by Tehran to its bilateral relations with Caracas. Takht-e Ravanchi, who is on a three-nation tour to the Latin American since January 13, arrived to the Venezuelan capital from Cuba. Bolivia is the next destination of the Iranian diplomat. During the meeting with President Maduro, the two also agreed to hold joint economic commission in a near future in order to expand bilateral relations. For his part, the Venezuelan president appreciated Iranian nation and governmentˈs resistance against international pressure noting that Caracas supports Tehran freedom-seeking aspirations.
