President Rouhani felicitates new Greek premier

Tehran, Jan 28, IRNA – President Hassan Rouhani cabled a message on Wednesday to felicitate Greece's new Prime Minister, Alexis Tsipras on winning the Greek general election. In the message, President Rouhani expressed the hope that Tehran-Athens mutual, regional and international relations and cooperation would further bolster and develop. 'I would like to congratulate you on the appointment as the new country's premier,' Rouhani said in the message. Thanks to political will of both sides officials, it is expected to witness expansion of all-out relations and cooperation at mutual, regional and international level between Iran and Greece, Rouhani said in the message. President Rouhani prayed for success of the new Greek premier and prosperity of the Greek nation.
