Tehran, March 8, IRNA – President Hassan Rouhani on Saturday said that thinkers and those active in the field of media and press possess major part of the soft power in a society. The President made the remarks while addressing the closing ceremony of the 20th festival of press, news agencies and news websites. If we could divide the power in a society into hard power and soft power, then it could be said those active in the field of media and press and are known as the ˈmen of the penˈ have major part of the soft power in their hands, said President.
