President Rouhani Underlines Solidarity Among Muslims

Tehran, Feb 19, IRNA – President Hassan Rouhani on Tuesday underlined solidarity among Muslim states. Speaking to Ogtay Asadov, Speaker of Azerbaijani Parliament, on the sidelines of the 9th conference of Parliamentary Union of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, President Rouhani said ˈNew measures should be taken to solidify unity in the world of Islam and we will channel our efforts in the same direction.ˈ He said, ˈRelations with Azerbaijan is of importance for us and they should expand in all economic, cultural and political spheres.ˈ For his part, Asadov urged speedy expansion of mutual ties./end
