President Rouhani To Visit China: Envoy

Beijing, March 18, IRNA - Iranˈs Ambassador to Beijing Mehdi Safari said here on Tuesday that President Hassan Rouhani is scheduled to visit China in the next two months. Safari made the remarks in a gathering in Beijing, stressing that the Iranian Embassy in Beijing is making necessary arrangements for President Rouhaniˈs trip to this country. He underlined that the new Iranian government attaches great importance to expansion of all-out ties with China, adding that China is considered as Iranˈs first trade partner. According to reports, Tehran-Beijing trade transactions currently stand at dlrs 40 billion, while the figure could reach dlrs 60 billion next year./end
