President Stresses Expansion Of Iran-Thailand Ties

Tehran, July 24, IRNA – President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said friendship between Iran and Thailand has been rooted in history, stressing the need to boost all-out cooperation. In a meeting with visiting Thai Minister to the Prime Ministers Office Niwatthamrong Bunsongphaisan, the President said Tehran and Bangkok share common global objectives. Iran-Thailand cooperation in the international arenas will undoubtedly bring various significant achievements, he reiterated. Iran is determined to develop ties with Thailand in different areas, particularly in economic and trade fields, the President said. The Thai official, too, said his country welcomes expansion of relations with friendly Iran./end
