Turkmenistan, Ashgabat, Aug. 24 / Trend H. Hasanov / Turkmenistan stands for a constructive dialogue in the area of the Caspian basin, Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov said at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, the Turkmen government reported today. "While steadily realizing a course of foreign policy based on the principles of equal and mutually beneficial partnership, the balance of national and common interests, neutral Turkmenistan strives to intensify a constructive dialogue to promote peace and harmony and to expand the effective cooperation in the Caspian Sea bilaterally and multilaterally," the president said. President Berdimuhamedov stressed that the Caspian Sea is a unique natural reservoir. Turkmenistan will continue taking consistent steps to maintain, increase and rationally use its rich resources. The significance of the activity of the inter-ministerial committee on the Caspian Sea was stressed.
