PRESIDENTIAL OFFICE HEAD MEETS “GILEAD SCIENCES” COMPANY DELEGATES

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ A head of the Presidential Office Mr P.Tsagaan Wednesday received delegates of the US "Gilead Sciences" company that has invented a new medicine to cure hepatitis C virus. The visitors also included "LF Asia" company and “Onom” foundation. The Gilead Sciences vice president in charge of access operations and emerging markets Clifford Samuel said their company decided to supply Mongolia with the Sofosbuvir drug at a lower price. This new medicine has entered the market recently to cure Hepatitis C virus. In turn, Mr Tsagaan appreciated the company’s efforts to combat the disease caused by this virus, and wished the company success in introducing the medicine in Mongolia.
