Presidents of Mongolia and Hungary hold official talks

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On April 15, following the tete-a-tete, the President of Mongolia TS.Elbegdorj and his Hungarian counterpart Janos Ader held an official discussion. Ts.Elbegdorj highlighted that this visit of the Hungarian President coincides with the 65th anniversary of the two countries’ diplomatic relations. Present at the discussion were the FM L.Purevsuren, the Minister of Industry D.Erdenebat, the Ambassador of Mongolia to Hungary Ms T.Gandi, the Hungarian Ambassador to Mongolia Ms Andrea Cecilia Szilas along with the authorities from the Office of the Hungarian President and related Mongolian officials. Mr Elbegdorj noted that there are many opportunities of expanding for the relations and cooperation between two countries. In response, Mr Ader expressed a confidence that his visit will make a certain contribution to the bilateral relations and cooperation. The sides also exchanged views on the possibilities to enhance the relations and cooperation and on some global issues, addressed the matter on developing the ties in economy, investment, education, the environment and agriculture, and agreed on a crucial importance of upgrading the long-time friendly relations. They resolved to ink a cooperation program for 2015-2017 between the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sciences of Mongolia and the Ministry of National Resources. The program will facilitate a possibility for up to 100 Mongolian students to study in Hungary every year. Re-opening the embassy of Hungary in Ulaanbaatar was also addressed.
