Presidents of Russia, Argentina begin talks in Moscow

MOSCOW, April 23. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin has started talks with his Argentine counterpart Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner in Moscow on Thursday. Putin said that the talks would focus on several problems that the two countries have against the backdrop of broadening political contacts. The Russian leader noted that he is very pleased to accept the Argentine president in the Kremlin, especially this year, which markes the130th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between Russia and Argentina. "The world has significantly changed over the years, our countries have significantly changed. Only one thing remains unchanged - the desire of our peoples to develop bilateral relations," Putin said. "Political contacts have recently increased significantly, trade turnover has grown," he added. The Russian president stressed that "there are problems as well."
