PROJECT FOR HUMAN RESOURCES TO BE IMPLEMENTED WITH JAPANESE AID

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ A project on scholarship programme for developing human resources will be implemented under a non-refundable aid of JPY 242 million from the government of Japan. An intergovernmental note on the project was signed Wednesday by L.Bold, the Foreign Minister of Mongolia, and by Mr Takenori Shimizu, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Mongolia. Since 1999, the government of Japan has been realizing the human resource programme with a purpose of strengthening the human resources in developing countries. Mongolia was involved in it in 2001, since then, 12 projects have been implemented involving 227 Mongolians in master degree trainings in Japan. Under the aim to prepare skilled state servants, the Japanese government trains 18-20 Mongolian students in postgraduate training having majoring them in law, economics, state management, business administration, international relations and IT.
