Promoting Parliamentary Dialogs Play Crucial Role In Boosting Iran-Romania Ties: MP

Tehran, July 9, IRNA - Promoting parliamentary dialogues will play an effective role in enhancing Tehran-Bucharest friendly relations, said the head of Iran-Romania Parliamentary Friendship Group. In a meeting with Romanian Ambassador to Iran Christian Teodorescu, Mohammad Mehdi Zahedi added that given the two countriesˈ abundant facilities and capacities in various fields, mutual cooperation in the economic, commercial and cultural areas can be further improved. He further noted that developing cultural exchanges, upgrading tourism industry and increasing practical cooperation are among the areas which can be used in line with promoting communications between the two countries. The Romanian ambassador, for his part, said that in view of positive record of mutual cooperation between Iran and Romania, his countryˈs government and parliament welcome developing bilateral ties./end
