PTI chief hails importance of Baku Congress of World News Agencies

Baku, November 23, AZERTAC The 5th News Agencies World Congress and 16th General Assembly of Organization of Asia-Pacific News Agencies held in Baku made an important contribution to strengthening relations among news agencies,” said Venky Venkatesh, Chief Executive Officer of The Press Trust of India Limited, in an interview with AZERTAC. He said representatives of leading news agencies from around the world attended the event. “We exchanged experience and laid the foundations for future cooperation,” Mr Venkatesh said. He also expressed his confidence that AZERTAC`s presidency of 5th News Agencies World Congress will be a success.
