Publication and TV programme contest concluded

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ A "Mongolia is a model country of democracy" contest of publications and TV programmes has been concluded in frames of the seventh Ministerial Conference of the Community of Democracies (CoD). On Thursday, the Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs D.Gankhuyag granted prizes to the contest’s winners. The bests are a journalist of the "MM" agency M.Gandiimaa in a category of TV programmes, a journalist from the Mongolian radio D.Monkhzul n a category of radio programmes; and a journalist from the "Democracy" newspaper B.Altantsetseg n the category of newspaper publications. The contest aimed to propagandize the content and importance of the "Education for democracy" resolution which was adopted last year by the United Nations General Assembly at initiative of Mongolia.
