Putin to meet Palestinian president Mahmoud Abbas on April 13

MOSCOW, April 9 /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin will meet Mahmoud Abbas, the president of the State of Palestine, during the latter’s working visit to Russia on April 13. "The forthcoming talks will dwells on the key aspects of Russian-Palestinian relations and ways of their further development with an emphasis on trade, economic and humanitarian spheres," the Kremlin press service reported on Thursday. Putin and Abbas will pay special attention to the current situation in the Middle East and Northern Africa. "The sides will have a substantive exchange of views on prospects for the Palestinian-Israeli negotiations and other urgent regional problems," the Kremlin press service said. Read more
