MOSCOW, April 17 (Itar-Tass) - Russian President Vladimir Putin underlined the importance of Russian-Chinese relations for international stability. Speaking after the televised question and answer session with Russian citizens on Thursday, Putin told reporters that Russian-Chinese relations were at an unprecedentedly high level, including trade and economic ties, high-tech and defense cooperation, etc. "Russian-Chinese relations are one of the most important factors of international stability," Putin said adding that they were important for many issues related to confidence in Asia. It is a very important aspect whose significance is increasing in connection with the upcoming withdrawal of the international contingent from Afghanistan, the president explained.
