Qatar Highlights Importance Of Peaceful Solution Of Iran Nuclear Case

Berlin, April 17, IRNA -- Qatarˈs Prime Minister Sheikh Hamad Bin Jassim Al-Thani here Tuesday emphasized the need for ˈa cordial and peacefulˈ settlement of the Iranian nuclear file. Speaking at a news conference with German Chancellor Angela Merkel, the Qatari prime minister said that the ˈright solutionˈ of the Iranian nuclear issue was a ˈpolitical and diplomatic solution.ˈ He warned the Iran nuclear dossier could ˈnot be resolved through the use of force.ˈ Sheikh Hamad stressed it was of ˈutmost importance that a cordial and peaceful solution could be reached through a political agreement.ˈ This is the ˈeffective and important pathˈ to achieve this objective, he added, while voicing support for the ongoing talks between the five UN veto powers (US, Russia, China, Britain and France) plus Germany and Iran aimed at settling the row over Tehranˈs nuclear program.
