Qatari Emir, PM Extend Condolences To President Rouhani On Quake

Tehran, Nov 30, IRNA – Qatari Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani in a message to President Hassan Rouhani extended his condolences on the devastating earthquake in southern Iran which killed 8 people and injured several others. An earthquake measuring 5.7 on the Richter scale rocked the town of Borazjan in Bushehr province on Thursday. “I condole with the Iranian government and nation on the loss of life of several Iranian citizens as a result of the earthquake of Bushehr province on Thursday,” the Qatari emir said in his condolence message. Qatari Prime Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al-Thani also in a separate message to President Rouhani extended his condolence on the sad occasion./end
