Qatari judiciary head to visit Iran

Tehran, Nov 8, IRNA – Qatari head of Judiciary is to pay a visit to Iran to discuss expansion of bilateral legal and judicial cooperation with Iran. According to the report of Judiciary Public Relations Office, Advisor to the Judiciary Chief Mohammad Javad Larijani, in a meeting with Chairman of Qatar's National Human Rights Committee Ali bin Smaikh Al-Marri on Thursday, submitted the invitation letter of Iran's Judiciary Chief to him. Al–Marri welcomed the invitation and called it an important and valuable move to develop bilateral cooperation on legal and judicial issues and said that nowadays, when enemies are always trying to create discord among Muslims, such interactions would cause deepening relations and consolidating unity among Muslims. He called religious commonalities as an appropriate base for expansion of cooperation among Islamic states, adding that such relations should be on highest levels between Iran and Qatar./end
