Qods Day Backs Beit-ul-Moqaddas Liberation : Indian Scholar

New Delhi, Aug 18, IRNA – International Qods Day ceremonies support liberation of Beit-ul-Moqaddas from the clutches of Israel. In a Friday sermon, at history Shahi Masjid at Fatehpuri in Delhi, the Friday Prayer leader, Maulana Dr. Mufti M Mukarram Ahmed said: 'Today Muslims are celebrating Quds day to support Palestinian people and to condemn Israel's attack on the Palestinian people.' He said that it is a matter of sorrow that big powers are aware about this injustice, but they are not raising their voices in favour of Palestinians, rather the US is using veto power in support of Israel's ongoing injustice. The Shahi Imam said we are welcoming the Muslim summit conference held in Saudi Arabia in these days and hoped that some effective steps will be taken. Shahi Imam noted that every Muslim is duty-bound to support the celebration of International Quds day, which was designated by the late leader of the Islamic Revolution Imam Khomeini three decades ago. He (Imam Khomeini (RA)) has said that it is the best way to protest against Israel in the world. Mukarram appealed all Muslims around the world to sympathize with Palestinian people. The historical Shahi Masjid Fatehpuri was decorated with banners, depicting support for the liberation of Beit-ul-Moqaddas, expressing solidarity with the Palestinian people and demanding immediate ban on Israel because it is violating the UN rules of human charter. He also strongly condemned the genocide killing of Muslims in Burma (Myanmar) and appealed UN to provide justice and peace there./end
