Qom Theological Center Condemns Shelling Of Holy Shrine In Syria

Qom, July 21, IRNA – The administration for Qom theological center issued a statement on Saturday condemning the shelling of the Holy Shrine on the suburb of Damascus, Syria. Targeting holy shrine of Hazrat Zeinab (SA), the daughter of Imam Ali (AS), the first Imam of Prophet Mohammad (Peace Be Upon Him) Infallible Household to destroy its neighborhood and killing innocent prayers is regretful, said the statement. Those masterminding such criminal acts should bear in mind that Almighty God never forgives their crimes. It said that unity of the world Muslims is a thorn in their eyes. There is no doubt that those behind this scenario seek to divide the Muslims and stir up unrest in the regional countries. It is incumbent upon the Muslim World to exercise vigilance to thwart such plots, it said. The center also expressed condolence to world Muslims and prayed for peace of souls of the victims.
