Rahimi: Supporters Of Armed Gangs Responsible For Terrorist Acts In Syria

Tehran, May 1, IRNA – Iran's 1st VP Mohammad-Reza Rahimi said on Tuesday that the supporters of armed gangs are accountable for terrorist incidents in Syria. ˈResponsibility for such terrorist operations lie with the governments supporting armed gangs and terrorists in Syria,ˈ Rahimi told Syrian Prime Minister, Wael al-Halqi, on phone. He voiced deep sorrow over death of a companion of the Syrian prime minister in the terrorist operation on Monday. He criticized the UN for its silence against terrorist operations in Syria and said the Islamic Republic of Iran demands condemnation of such terrorist actions by the UN and other international organizations. Rahimi said that the governments being behind bloodshed and massacre of Syrian people would be ashamed of themselves always throughout history. ˈUndoubtedly, the bloods are unjustly shed on earth will become problematic for them in the future.ˈ The Syrian prime minister for his part thanked Iran for its support and said Syrian nation would continue with resistance, not allowing their land being taken by enemies and foreigners.
